Meet the Founders

Lenora Gamble

Her desire through her life is to be an example for single parent family units to show them that they CAN!

Because of this,

she pursued a Bachelor’s in Public Administration, a Master’s in Management and is currently working on a doctorate in Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Organizational Development.Through NYTPC she wants to inspire women - mothers and daughter - to walk in purpose and have a healthy relationship of support, love and prosperity. Her favorite scripture is:

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Brittany Wheeler

Ever since she was in high school, she always wanted to be an entrepreneur and she always had a desire to serve her gifts to the community. So she pursued her Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration.

Her vision for her life is to one day be able to help and inspire other children that has lost parents and are in a single parent home. Her favorite quote is:

“Let your faith be bigger than your fears”

Our Story

We were founded in 2018 and we had no idea that this would be the business that we would start. We always envisioned ourselves being business owners, but we never knew that this is where it would lead.

People would always tell us that we had such a great relationship and that you can tell the love between us was genuine. It wasn't until then, that we realized we have something to share with other mothers and daughters.

At that very moment, we thought about our single-parent journey.

What we learned along the way helped us arrive to this point - where even though it was(is) the two of us...

we made it work!

We chose the name NOT YOUR TYPICAL POWER COUPLE because we believe that we do things better together - as a pair.

WE are stronger together.

WE are brave together.

WE fight longer and harder together.

WE have more power together.

In this realization, we birthed something so precious to us. We hope that joining the N.Y.T.P.C Community will help YOU (all mothers and daughters) form a relationship that you are proud of.

To ultimately help you understand that all mothers and daughters are not your typical power couples.
